Carlotta Jacobi is a Leipzig based producer and techno DJ raised between Hamburg and Stockholm. With her sound she creates hypnotic and spaced out yet forward going atmospheres. During the past years Carlotta Jacobi has established herself as an active figure in Leipzig's techno scene: She is resident DJ at Connwax and is involved in the correspondant label. In 2020 she released some of her music on different local labels such as HUMAN and VAK, followed by creating her first liveset. In 2021 she contributed her track "Possible Futures" to the second vinyl compilation "7 I X" by Institut für Zukunft. Further work includes soundtracks for film, theatre and podcasts. Her debut-EP is coming up later this year on Connwax. Besides her musical work Carlotta Jacobi stands up for gender-balance and diversity in the field of electronic music, both practically and in research.
